Turkey Opens New Metro Line From Pendik to Sabiha Gökçen Airport

Turkey opens the new Pendik – Sabiha Gökçen Airport Metro Line, which has the capacity to serve 1 million 200 thousand passengers per day and has a speed of 80 kilometers.

The access to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, as one of the most important airports in Turkey and in the world, becomes easier.

The 7.4-kilometer Pendik – Sabiha Gökçen Airport metro line was put into service with the presence of President Erdoğan. 

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu pointed out that they have increased the quality of life of Istanbul residents, and besides the metro line, which was opened; He said that they will continue to bring the people of Istanbul together with the new metro lines.

The line that will start from Pendik Tavşantepe and pass through Fevzi Çakmak, Şeyhli, Yayalar and Kurtköy stations to reach Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is 7,4 kilometers long.
