Turkey ranked seventh globally in terms of the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administrated.
Turkey’s Health Minister Fehrettin Koca announced in a message on Twitter that according to the latest statistics of the website ‘Ourworldlinedata.org’; Our country is ranked seventh in terms of vaccination in the world.
Koca added that the six countries ranking before Turkey mostly have larger populations, and some are vaccine producers, such as China and the United States.
Turkey has so far administered 107.38 million jabs as part of the ongoing vaccination campaign launched in January after it approved the emergency use of the Chinese Sinovac vaccine, Koca announced.
